Sue Bell is a well-known Australian qualitative researcher. She runs the boutique micro agency Susan Bell Research. She is skilled and experienced in all forms of qualitative research including one on one interviews, online focus groups and communities, face to face focus groups, ethnography, semiotics, discourse analysis and has explored social media analysis and text analytics. She has presented papers at 6 AMSRS Conferences and has conducted one-day training for AMSRS on semiotics, one-one- interviewing, and qualitative analysis. She has been an invited speaker to NewMR on several occasions, and has been published in Research News, Qualitative Market Research: an International Journal, Clarity – Journal of the international association promoting plain legal language, and the International Journal of Market Research. She is a Fellow of the AMSRS and a Board Director of AMSRS. She has an Honours degree in English & Linguistics, a Graduate Diploma in Psychology, a Marketing Diploma, and Certificates in Advanced Semiotics, and in Plain Language and is currently studying anthropology.
