Phong heads up the Strategic Insight & Foresight Practice at Visa Asia Pacific. He works extensively on strategic foresights projects to help Visa and its clients understand the the future of payment, commerce, travel and loyalty using a mix of methodologies and data sources. He was formerly a Director at Kantar Consulting and the Futures Company, one of the global leading foresight & strategy consulting companies. At Kantar, Phong helped clients across a range of sectors to create strategy & innovation roadmaps for the future of food & beverage, mobility, affluence, ecommerce and technology. He is also an expert on generational marketing. He was keynote speaker at the Asian Marketing Effectiveness and Strategy (AMES) conference in 2016 on the topic of Brand Management 2030. He also published a conference paper on the topic of integrating customer segmentation into business strategy with the European Society for Opinion and Marketing Research (ESOMAR).
