Derek Lee currently leads worldwide research and intelligence projects at HP Inc.’s product innovation and research lab which delivers cutting-edge hardware and software solutions.
In his previous role at Facebook, he was the first and only researcher based in APAC and he led the APAC Consumer Insights practice with the Facebook Marketing Science Research team for almost 5 years. His global research work were related to consumers, media and products and he worked with global sales, global marketing, instagram, video and messenger product teams in the planning and delivery of research and data analytics that combine Facebook data with third party sources to uncover unique, people-centric and actionable insights.
He graduated from Singapore Management University, where he attained a double major in Information Systems Management and Advanced Business Technology (Business Intelligence Analytics).
