Amar Anagal is a Consumer Insights specialist with more than 19 years of work experience in Marketing Research, Consumer Insighting & Behavioral Analytics. He has worked in India and MENA region and led assignments across Qualitative as well as Quantitative Research in the FMCG, Media & Entertainment and Finance sectors. Presently he works with Walt Disney India (Star India Pvt. Ltd.) as the Consumer Insights Head for their Star Sports Division and is based out of Mumbai.
Across all the organizations that he has worked with, providing consumer-centricity to the business has been the key area of focus. Some of his BIG WINS include-
a. Contribution to devising the distribution expansion strategy for an FMCG major and,
b. Shaping the long-term narrative for new sports leagues in India.
He has done his graduation in Instrumentation Engineering and subsequently a Master’s Degree in Management Studies with specialization in Marketing.
