A commercially driven global insights leader, Anup switches between being a business consultant and a consumer/market expert while working with different stakeholders.

As Insights Lead for India, Anup is responsible to represent the voice of the consumer at General Mills, ensuring that the business places the consumer needs first & at the centre while making business plans and decisions.

Prior to General Mills, Anup worked as a Director at Nielsen India where he led client relationships for major consumer good multinationals across India & South East Asia. At Nielsen, Anup worked in senior leadership roles at BASES (Innovation Consulting) and Retail Audit Service, over an association of 9 years.

Anup is fortunate to be one of the few industry experts who have specialist ‘hands-on’ experience across the tool kits of consumer insights, qualitative, quantitative and syndicated research.

Anup is based in Mumbai and is passionate about listening to consumer stories.
